EKCCB Meeting and Skills Saturday

Join the Eastern Kentucky Christian Council of the Blind for our next Skills Saturday at the Breathitt County Public Library in Jackson.

Here is your chance to learn more about low vision and blindness and discover resources available in southeastern Kentucky. Learn about computer technology adapted for the blind; find out how to use speech and other special software to read the computer screen with little or no vision. Ask questions and pick up tips from other blind and visually impaired people and from professionals in the field of blindness about everyday tasks, guide dogs and how to use a cane, and much more.

Email Joey Couch, EKCCB President, or give him a call at (606) 216-8033 for more information about the next Skills Saturday. Everyone is welcome, so we hope to see you there.

Dine Out with EKCCB

Go out to eat with EKCCB and enjoy a good meal and good friends. Feel free to ask others about low vision and blindness, how to access services, how to handle everyday situations at home or at work etc. Email Joey Couch, EKCCB President, or give him a call at (606) 216-8033 for more info about the next EKCCB Dine Out. Everyone is welcome.
